Initiate Treatment with Buspirone

Buspirone has been shown to be helpful in GAD; as with antidepressants, there is usually a lag time between initiation and efficacy. It has not been shown to be of significant use as a single agent in PD, although there are some case reports of successful augmentation with buspirone in PD.
