Often, finding means of organizing a milieu that is predictable and promotes understanding and learning for the child with Asperger's disorder alleviates need for intensive behavior programs. One research group has reported that an intensive program of behavior management begun at early ages results in significant achievements, but others have been severely critical of the methods used in this study.
