Classify Patients by Stage of Disease Hodgkin's Disease

An exploratory laparotomy should be performed (unless mediastinal enlargement). The spleen should be removed, and  intra-abdominal lymph nodes and the liver should be biopsied.

Early Stage (Stages I and II)--No Bulky Disease, No B Symptoms

Early Stage (Stages I and II) with B Symptoms

Patients with Massive Mediastinal Enlargement

Stages III and IV A or B Disease
