Stages III and IV A or B disease
If there has been no interval change between cycles 4 and 6, no further therapy is given. If involved sites of disease have continued to regress between cycles 4 and 6, two additional cycles of therapy are given. Residual abnormalities after eight cycles of therapy are treated with involved-field radiation therapy. Patients in complete remission after chemotherapy receive no further therapy.
